Picked Up New Car

After only 1 week wait i picked up my new is 220 d on saturday, its every bit as good as my old is 200 and looks fantastic in black. it is a 2007 car as i checked the position of the switches [ thanks for the tip jambo]

I did ask about the issues with mpg and was told that all the new 2007 cars had been sorted out to give better mpg?

Boot and Fuel Cap release switches are side by side as opposed to above and below (ITMS)...

As Derek says - pictures are madatory and salesmen tell you what they want you to hear...even at Lexus...it's their job!

Can they be changed in a 2006 car? I picked mine up on the 31-10-2006, and like many on LOC I too struggle to see them. Has anyone asked the local Lexus dealer for an upgrade, wouldn't mind paying. Anyone done this?

They are difficult to see and that's why I suspect it was done. For me, I only ever go into the boot once a week and fillup once a month (the joy of a diesel).

I doubt it would be a big job to change it, unless the wiring loom is very tight...
