Sat Nav Lost In Space - Is 250 Sel Mm Ice

The sat nav does not seem to be able to find me. It does not show the map of the area where I am at any particular time. At one stage it showed me in the middle of the English Channel. It's going in to be fixed but on the basis that forewarned is forearmed I am wondering if anyone else has had similar problems. This is the 3rd Lexus that I have had with sat nav and this one definately does not work. Is it likely to be a disc or GPS problem?

It is a GPS problem, a qucik stop at your dealer and it will be sorted.

When your car is on, do you get the little "GPS" logo on the screen to say it has a satellite signal?

If its not there, then there's most likely a problem with the antenna or a connection problem

Have you had upgraded disk? There was a recall for some cars with this problem.

Thanks for your imput. The screen is now showing plain blue with no map. There is no GPS sign. It is also showing version 1 of the DVD but also shows no disc inserted! I'll feed back with the answers after it's been into lexus next week.
