Stone Chips On Bonnet

Had a go at using some touch up paint and langka ‘blob eliminator’ on some of the stone chips on my bonnet this weekend.... verdict - seems to have worked quite well.

The idea is you fill the chip with some touch up paint and after it dries you rub it down with some of the Langka stuff till its virtually flat. You can still see the outline of the chips, but not very much at a distance, and theyre quite smooth to the touch ie no real indent . Not nearly as good as a re-spray and possibly not as good as a chips away job (never tried!)- but worth a try as a quick fix and i imagine the finish might be even better after a few coats and some practice. :)
