hi i want my centre console where all the dials for the heater is to be blue.

does any body know where to get the bulbs from???

its is a fiddly job as they need to be replaced individually by soldering each one in.

The results are not always great either.

Speak to Sparkystav or Fargo as I believe they have experience of doing this.

its a real fiddley job i am in the process of doing my heater controll the effect is good but just make sure you cover each of the LED legs or they short and blow and if u have glued them in your a bit screwed as i have found bugger

I had a nissan Micra a few years ago (oh what a difference to the IS), and the reverse switch in the gearbox was bust. Would have meant dropping the oil and replacing it and stuff. So asked my loacl MOT garage guy about it, and he said you're not legally obliged to have one. He said you can't fail cos of it maybe just get n advidory. Although I don't know how kindly they'd take to blue ones, as said could be classed as inpersonating a police car.

Althouh I do quite like the blue interior light, we've got a bit of an advantage with our cars that we've got 2, so could leave one white for when you need to find somthing.

i have been told by local police:

ANY colour light apart from white at the front, red at rear, and amber indicators, emitted WHEN THE CAR IS DRIVING is ILLEGAL!

simple as that!

You are allowed white chassis lighting I believe (due to a loophole in wording).

The other was amber chassis lighting at the sides etc etc - if you keep to the lighting theme of the car as mentioned in the above post, you will be on the correct side of the law - all be it with a crap looking light effect.
