Hi there,

I have a GS300 SEL and the road noise is bad!!

Its still with the original yokos that came with it.

Any suggestion on what is a quiet yet good grip both wet and dry?

Many thanks

Have a look at this re-print from autoexpress last year, it might help. One thing to bear in mind with tyre noise though, any tyre is quieter when its new compared to when it's worn, so if you get new tyres, a noise improvement will half be due to them being new with lots of tread and half possibly because of quieter design.

Cheers James for that link, very useful,

I was just trying to get a feel of what ppl here use that they think may be of help.

The car is so quiet yet the tyres really do ruin it. must be a design fault??

Surely whatever tyre i get, it wont elimate it but i just want to minimise it as much as possible.

Thanks

ps, if an new gs owners have changed tyres and noticed any +ve/-ve please share!

I'm running the Nexxen N3000 on my car and they're very quiet indeed - they're classed as a budget tyre but I'm happy with them, it's a fairly new brand to the UK hence the low price point I think?
