Engine Fuel Mixture Problems

Hello

I have joined LOC to find out is anyone would know why my is200 doesn't run.

Here's the complete story....... 3 month ago when we had the floods all over the country I had the misfortune to drive through 12 " water in a deluge and buggered up the engine. Found out that 2 con rods had bent iin pistons 3 and 4 . What a bummer!! The car is obviously two good to scrap so I bought a engine from a reputable dealer and went ahead to change it. This sounds reletively straightforward but I just can't get the damn thing running. The engine is guarenteed and although hadn't been used for some time appears to be OK. (normal checks done). However, after 2 week of trying and exchaging each electronic connection one by one it still does not run. It went to LEXUS dealers as well and they weren't much help. Nothing showed up on the diagnostic check!!!!The car fire up and runs for about 30 secs misfiring all the time. This leads to the fuel mixture problem and timing. The plugs indicate a very rich mixture but the timing and compression is checked and appears perfect.

So:-

Why does it not run?

Does the Electronic management system have anything to do with it?

The original wiring loom was used.

Is this a common problem when you exchange engines?

Is there a reset button somewhere that will magically make it run??

As I said, the car is too good to scrap and I want to get it running. Is there any one out there who has experienced similar problem or who can help??

This would be much appreciated.
