Problems With My Lsd

Guys,

I've installed last week an LSD. But when the car is cold, specially in the mornings, I feel an extreme amount of rattle and vibrations on the rear end.

When I installed it I out in Red Line's 75W-90 gear oil, plus 4 Fl. ounces of gear friction modifier.

What could be the problem ? Has anyone installed this ? What Gear oil have you used ?

The shuddering effect of the LSD is common. I am using the TRD LSD.

Do you know what oil did they put in or is recomended for this LSD ?

For the TRD LSD, they will recommend to use the TRD LSD oil, however sometimes I do use the Cusco LSD oil.

It depends on the manufacturer. If you have a plate type LSD they do make a lot of noise

Mark The problem is that it only vibrates and makes noise at initial use (In the mornings, or after several hours standing), after it heatens the noise and vibrations go out.

What oil do you use ?

Is there anything sold for a total solution ?

What oil do you use if you install a TRD LSD into someone's car ? Do you sell the TRD Gear oil ?
