Can I Use A Machine Polisher For Wax ?

Recommended Posts

I am planning on putting another layer of Autoglm Extra Gloss Protection on and followed by P21S wax on my LS. Can these products be buffed off with a machine polisher with a microfibre towel buffing bonnet ?

I've got a 60 watt 7" random orbit polisher (which mimics the hand movements) similar to this one :

If not which wax products can be safely buffed off with this type of polisher.

Thanks

That is what that buffer is for...

no good for correcting paintwork, but ideal for applying and buffing wax..

I burnt one out trying to polish some dull paint....... and mine was 120W !!!

I now have a Dewalt DW443 random orbital jobby... which I use to polish, and apply wax and buff off..

Thanks John. I've used it before to buff off polish, but i wasn't sure if using it to buff of wax would end up taking the wax off with excess heat or something and defeat the purpose of waxing.

Looks like i'll be saving me even more time when I wax from now on :)
