anyone advise me if fitting bigger rims ie 17 or 18in,affects ride quality at all, reason i ask is i fitted 17in on my merc E300 and the difference in ride quality was really noticeable, lexus is really smooth and quiet so don`t want to mess it up by fitting bigger rims,by the way car is LS400 mk3

I would love to find out how new rims with lower profile tires actually felt like on the road !!

I have had great difficulty finding 18's that fit over my 1998 LS400 standard equiipment oversized front brake calipers !!

So far I am three and out , any sugestions ??

Having tried standard set up and the dynamic handling pack version. It all depends what you want. If you want a smooth queit ride stay standard if you want a more interesting drive go DHP. Personal view is why buy an LS unless you want the luxury style ride you'd be better off driving something designed for the sportier drive.
