Getting Good Finish On A Black Car

im just gettin all my gear together to have a cleaning marathon on my car as its looking a bit grubby inside and out and just wanted to know if i was using the right stuff in the right order.my paint work has quite a few swirls but a few months ago a went over it with Autoglym srp (out of my birthday pack)and did a good job so gonna stick with that,

heres my order

1)wash-autoglym shampoo

2)clay-Bilt Hamber Auto clay

3)wheels-wheel cleaner

4)polish-autoglym srp

5)autoglym extra gloss protection

6)wax-Collinite 476s Super Double Coat Car Wax

7)tyre dressing

hope its in the right order.

then its onto the inside or should i do that first

If you go to the Autoglym website, they have a free guide that they will post to you. It is a booklet with full instructions on car detailing from top to bottom and inside out and in which order. It obviously only lists their own products but is very informative.

Here's how mine looked after using Meguire's clay kit, and then swirl remover, polish and carnauba wax. Was my first attempt so might get better results next time?? I was very pleased with it anyhow, even though I confess to not having an idea about detailing :whistling:
