Transmission Oil Needs Changing

hey guys ive been on the forums since last week and i found a post with the part number for the gs300 mk2 transmission oil toyota t-iv but i cant find it now as im going to my local toyota garage on wednesday to order it.so if someone could help me out with the part number would be excellent also how much of the transmission fluid is needed.

also im looking for stainless steel brake lines but on eBay only founf hong kong or usa sellers them.any uk sellers them???

hey guys just to update managed to find the part number but i got skinned £45 from toyota for the 5ltr bottle.

what do u guys think about fitting stainless steel brake lines on the gs???will it make much difference??

Hi ummy,

stainless lines are used a lot to improve bike brakes and they give a firmer edge to the brakes generally. Some think that it takes away some of the "feel" but this isn't so noticeable on cars, to be honest if your original lines aren't degraded or damaged in any way then it's a debatable expense - good clean fluid and properly serviced calipers with good pads is probably a better way to go. If these are ok save up for petrol! :blush:
