Gs Computer!

Hi there,

I have recently bought a 05 Gs300,

And Im having trouble syncing my phone with the computer.

To make a call on the move you can only use the speed dials right? (ie cant dial numbers on the screen?)

Also how do you move the phone book from the phone to the cars computer?

It seems to drop and pick up the Bluetooth connection alot too?

Different phones have varying levels of compatability with the GS system. Also the GS has two different Bluetooth software builds which are evident from whether you have a colour or black screen display.

You need to go to this page

http://www.lexus.co.uk/lexus-services/bluetooth.aspx

to specify your screen colour and the type of phone you have. This will tell you what level of inter-operation you can expect.

As an example, my HTC Touch phone will only push stored numbers, one at a time to my '07 GS430 car system. Apart from this stored number issue, it works a treat and detects the phone in my pocket as soon as I switch the ignition on.
