Custom Air Filter Problems

hi lads i have a lexus is200 sport on a 2000 plate, i am in the process of making a custom air filter similar to a prolex one, my problem is, is that their is some sort of air sensor attatched to the front of the standard air box, what do i do with this when i fit my new induction kit ???? can it be bypassed ??? would appeciate ALL you hit and tips to do with this and the induction kit.

If you have the silicone hoses the 90 degree bend at the throttle body and the 45 degree bend at the joint you can drill a small hole in either of them and push the air sensor into the pipe? it might reach the 45 degree pipe but will need the 2 wires extending to go into the 90 degree pipe? :)

Thanks mate thats been a massive help much appreciate. Their is another little question that i want to know and that is, ive seen a few people on hear with the same induction set up and i was wondering does the breather pipe have to be attatched to the kit or could i just use a small breather filter ???? thanks mate

Yeh use a small breather filter mate, saves on extra piping going over the engine :D
