Problems With Car Radio / Navigator Panel

Recommended Posts

I moved to London from Japan recently and shipped my Toyota Windom '99 GS 3.0 over. The car arrived last week but the move doesn't seem to have gone down well with the car since the entire car radio / navigation panel has gone dead. I've also had problems with the car Battery. Could anyone recommend a good car mechanic in London for a Toyota Windom to have these problems checked and to be a general point person for regular servicing needs, etc. for the car.

Finally, is it possible to try and use the navigation system in Britain and, if so, how would one go about doing it?

Thanks in advance.

Wouldn't trust any car mechanic in London. I know someone who bought a car in London and the first service cost her almost £900! It should have cost less than £200. But take it to a lexus/toyota dealer. Sounds like the Battery and the dead radio problem are one and the same. I assume you've checked fuses and read the manual etc.

The sat nav works in Britain but you probably need a new CD/DVD for the UK.
