Lightish Front End/steering

Hello all, i`ve only had my Lexus since the summer and was just wondering if there is something i need to check or if the IS200 sport is like this in general.

Basically when i get up to motorway speeds the steering feels very light, if i turn it does so with no problem just the feedback doesn`t seem great especially in the wet.

Am i just in a transition period having come from front wheel drive cars or is that could be causing it. Recently had an mot and the front tyres had 4mm of tread on each rears had 7mm each would swapping possibly help? Pressures seem ok and had the fronts balanced.
