16" Wheels Is200, Similar With Which Other Cars?

Hi, I'm really thinking of buying wintertyres, and simple black iron steel wheels to fit them on. It's just for the winter, don't really care if it looks dodgy.

Now, looking on the internet, I can't seem to find 16" wheels specificaly for a Lexus, and here's the question.

Whith which car does the Lexus IS200 share the same 16" wheels? Might be an Avensis, might even be a BMW, don't care, just need the info. I might be able to find fitting wheels with tyres if I know they can originaly be from another car.

It's just because I'm a bit surprised about what the local tyrecenter is charging me for a set of aloy wheels (which I really don't want, but they don't do steel wheels, 'cause it's only costing about 15€ more for each aloy, still makes 60€ extra for the total :duh: ) and it's about 135€ per wintertyre. Makes 840€ in total, which is a lot of money :crying:

On the net I often come up to people selling good wintertyres with wheels, or aloy's, for less than 500€, makes enough difference to ask this question here :winky:

Grtz, Philip!

You don't happen to know the bolt pattern, or the offset?

Grtz, Philip!

114.3 x 5

35-45 offset

60.5 centre bore

I didn't want to create a seperate thead, but it is kinda related to this one - what are the width of tyres (narrowest or widest) it is possible to safely put on a 7" width rim.

I am also planning to move from 225/45R17 to ~205/55R16 for winter.

Thanks :)

So, after searching for the right wheels on the secondhand market, and not finding them (loads of wheels and wintertyres for BMW, VW, Audi etc...), today I went to the tyre specialist and bought some plain, black steel rims with new Dunlop wintertyres. Asked the guy for the best wintertyres according to grip in snowy and icy conditions, and he said that they had the coise between this Dunlop and a unknown Swedish brand, decided for the Dunlops 'cause I've always been pleased with Dunlop, allthough that's with summertyres. Shopping budget is gone, was around 640€ all in :(

Didn't take any chanse, the weather forecast in Belguim for the comming week end is temperatures around or below freezing, and rain and/or snow. Don't wanna get stuck again, like a week ago

Besides, it's just my thought, but I think those black rims look good on the Lexus, thinking of painting the original 17" aloys in antracite black semi-gloss, with the cars green on the inside of the spokes in a brillinat finish. Ohw, my Lexus is green, mettalic dark green, don't see them in that colour that much :P

here in sweden we all have winter tires.

the size is 205/55/16 and any toyota dealer should have rims for your car.

the avensis / corrolla verso and the auris all have the same wheels you need to fit the is200

Could you tell me, what kind of spare wheel comes with these cars - is it with rim as it is in IS or do they provide the small wheel and tyre as a spare? Thanks!
