hi, iv just bought an is200 today and im already looking at mods, im unsure whether i will be keepin with 17's or going for 18's, i would like to lower it, but im thinking coilovers might make the ride just to harsh, im lookin for a kit that will lower it closer to the wheel to improve the look over standard but one that minimalises the ride comfort from standard,

any info anf pics would be a great help

I used the TTE coilovers

they allowed a low stance, sporty feel and they retained that Lexus comfort

cant recommend them enough

any pics bazza, im stil struggling to find my way around the site at the moment. how much did u pay for the tte's?

any links to them?

TEIN and Eibach also make excellent lowering springs for IS200/300 and Altezza

I actually have some TEIN pillowball uppermounts lying around somewhere for springs.

bought them before i decided to go coilover...

I had HKS lowering springs on my stock shocks, not TEIN, but it was really nice.

only thing was my undercarriage was hitting everything in the road.

got some nice scrapes on my differential and brand new center pipe before i fitted the coil overs.

A friend of mine put some TEIN super street springs on an IS300 back in the states, and he swears by them.

Pillowball upper mounts are here: http://www.tein.com/products/upper_mount.html
