I have had a witter removable towbar fitted to my RX450h , all is good but i have a question the dealer cant answer nor is detailed in the instruction booklet.

I had Fitted the Lexus Lighting Kit for the trailer lights but when the direction indicators are used no confirmation is show on the dash anywhere, is this something not now required or needs to be enabled ?

No seperate dash indicator is required. The law requires that the driver is made aware that the trailer's inidcator is not working. In your case, any failure should be evident by an increase in the speed of the indicators rate of flash, similar to a solo car with a failed indicator bulb.

Not convinced? remove a trailer indicator bulb to test if it works.
