Hi

IS250 auto petrol 08 due for an annual servcice. Was astounded when contacted local Lexus. £419. Requested a check list to see why it cost so much. Sorry do not have one at the moment. As the Lexus has so much electronics I assume it will be connected to a diagnostic machine & if all within the required parameters that will be it. Oil & fluids changed. Service completed.

Is this the going rate from a Lexus dealer.

Even as a second service, cost quoted certainly looks like they are taking the proverbial.

You could phone around a couple of Lexus Dealers and see if you could get a Lexus GB Service Plan that covers your next 3 services (including this one) ;)
