03 Rx300 Satnav Guidance Voice Problem

Hi, I have read through the forum and cannot find an answer to my problem. I wonder if anyone can offer me some help please. The satnav on my 03 RX300 appears to be working perfectly except for the lack of guidance voice. I have read, and reread the manual and followed each instruction to the letter, but to no avail! I took the car to Lexus in Exeter for it's 80,000 mile service and mentioned the fault to them but they didn't seem to want to help. Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated. I remember reading in the forum that someone had lost the guidance voice on his satnav, and got it back by resetting the unit (i.e.: ejecting and inserting again the dvd).

Thank you for that information Paolo, I will try it out first thing in the morning. I'll let you know if it works, but here is hoping!
