Hi All

Sorry for the Generic post but i require some help/advice and hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

Unfortuntely I had the dreaded error3 on my cd player the other day. On opening up the unit i discovered a stuck cd which i duely removed however I cant seem to work out how to place the bits back together again! I have a metal plate on the top which appears to be connected by 2 springs holding it in place, I cant work out where these springs would attach to. Is anyone able to offer any help on this?!! Next time i will take a photo before i decide to open anything up!!

Hoping someone has a unit that they can open up and maybe post a pic, many thanks in advance!!

The metal plate seems to go on the top of where the cds usually are and it is secured by 2 springs, i just cant figure out where they were attached to and it doesnt function in its current state, any help pointers much appr. cheers

I can't think of anyone who's actually fixed theirs, problem is once you get ERR3 it is pretty much dead. Most have either replaced the headunit with an aftermarket one, or uses an iPod or similar (which is what I've done).
