hi i recently bought a is 200 SE, its stood on my drive, and hasn been started in the week. i recently found out the person i bought it of hadn put deicer in the car and my radiater has frozen. i tried startin it not realisen it was frozen. will i of coursed dammage. and what would be best to do now. i haven a clue about cars.

Sorry to hear that, i am not a enginer so all i can tell you is yes it can, once it as thawed out check water leval and see if it as dropped, if water as dropped you could have blown the rad or crack the block or popped a corplug, if water leval is ok then start engine and warm it up keep an eye on water leval and check for leaks anywhere, you may have been looky but its been bloody cold this week, if unsure take it in garage for a pressure check, sorry to be so blunt but i been there many years back, I hope you have not dammaged anything,
