The Evora has the 3.5 litre V6 that is in the IS350. It's still a bit slower than the IS-F though so their claim for the loaner car is not correct.

Maybe they would have been better with the Evora S.......considerably more power than the standard Evora. I often wonder though what the true top speed/acceleration figures are with all the extra weight that they have to carry. The electronic gear alone must weigh them down plus the various other things they have to carry.

The supercharger on the Evora 'S' increases the top speed to 172 mph (IS-F is electronically limited to 168), but it still only matches the IS-F 0-60 time of 4.6 seconds, and as you say you would have to question those figures with the additional weight of all the equipment they carry. (not forgetting two doughnut eating PC's).

Even so, I'm not going to volunteer to test the figures trying to outrun them on the M4!
