Ls430 Unlocking Using The Door Handle Buttons

Recommended Posts

I've had a fairly good root around the site looking for any information about this but so far haven't found anything so please forgive me if I missed it.

My problem is that I can lock the my LS430 using the buttons on the door handles but so far I am unable to unlock it using them. I've looked on here as I say and also had a search through the handbook but nothing has leapt out at me from either source. The system works fine with the key remote and it locks and unlock as you would expect using that. I know that I'm being picky but continually taking the keys out of my pocket just to unlock the car is a pain.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Thanks in advance, Tc

Hello,

I assume you mean the little black square buttons?

If so these are only to lock the car. To unlock look for the Puddle lights to come onas you approach and then put the back of your hand on the OUTSIDE of the handle when the car should unlock. There is a diagram in my handbook but its not very clear.
