Condensation

My IS200SE is 9 years old and has developed severe condensation which is also affecting the alarm. Lexus are telling me that I need a new sunroof and that the aerial seal needs replacing all of which is going to cost in the region of £700+. I can't believe that the problems stem from two places at the same time. Has anyone else suffered these problems and did you find a more cost effective way of dealing with them?

Don't have an IS but did you check if the headlining is wet?

Look for water leaking into the boot, check for wet carpets etc, something in the car is wet

to cause lots of condensation, if the headlining is dry it's ulikely to be the sunroof.

Check it drains anyway and look for stains etc,everywhere, suggesting leaks.
