450H Dvd Issue

Hi all,

New owner of an 07 GS 450H SE-L and loving it!!!!! One issue I've noticed is that the DVD function on the ML interface is that when I put a DVD in

it play's the sound but no picture?

I've made sure the car is in park with handbreak on but still nothing. I do not get the option to press the "picture" button on the disc selection screen?

Am I doing something wrong or do I need to contact Lexus?

Any help would be great.

I suspect it is because you have energised the Hybrid system so the car thinks you are trying to drive with a distraction. Please try pressing the Power/Start button without touching the brake pedal, this is like the ACC position on a mechanical steering lock ie extras work but no engine.

Hi,

Tried as suggested but still no picture. I get the option to change the widescreen size but no picture option or button highlighted.

Anything else I can try?
