You are not really giving away too much here in terms of information.

But in response to your headline question I would say that does not sound too good.

Firstly, Check under the oil filler cap.....any white sludge like(think of mayonnaise) material to be seen?

Also, take a look in the water coolant reservoir...any oil droplets in the water...does the water smell of exhaust fumes?

Has your water level dropped at all recently?

How old is the car and how many miles on the clock?

Are you under warranty from Lexus?

How long have you owned the car?

Have you got Full Lexus Service History in your service booklet?

Sorry its not a definitive answer, but you have to start somewhere
