Halfords Bike Carrier Fitment For Ct200

I bought a Halfords bike carrier a couple of years ago to use on my Prius. It is an excellent design and can take three bikes. It came with a list of fitments for hundreds of cars, but not the CT200. It comes with four different length pairs of struts that clip on to the top of the hatch. There are also several other ways of adjusting to fit each car herefore the permutations are huge. I have just spect this morning playing around to see if it will fit the CT200 and I have finally craked it, Here are some pics. I didn`t bother adjusting the angle of the bars that the bikes sit on as that is a seperate thing to the fitting of the rack and is a two second job.

I haven't got the CT200h but suddenly had a thought after reading that you can't use the rear wiper when the carrier is fitted, does the rear wiper work automatically when you engage reverse if you have the front windscreen wipers switched on? If they do you might end up damaging the arm and so it would always be best to make sure that the front ones aren't switched on when you start reversing in the wet.

Sorry if this is a stupid comment but on my wifes car the rear wiper does automatically start up when the front ones are on and reverse is engaged.

I will check if my CT200 does have that feature. I haven`t noticed it up to now.

By the way, when I went to reply to this I hit the report tab instead of quote tag. I don`t know what happens as there was no `confirm` opportunity so if you get some contact from the forum police you are forewarned!
