Battery Flat

I have had a Lexus RX400H for the past 5 years now and its such a great car.

In the past month my Lexus RX400H has had a flat Battery approx 4 times, if I jump start it everything is fine for the day. I had the Battery checked out and my local garage said the Battery is fine and I will need to take the car to an electronic expert as they believe something must be draining the power.

Has anybody had anything similar as its getting a little annoying.

Thanks

Brian

Hello and welcome to the LOC.

Although the Battery checked out OK if it is the original Battery I would be looking to replace it anyway.

The Battery on my works van failed a month or so ago and I had the RAC out who replaced it, one check they made after was for parasitic current draw ( the power taken from the Battery with the keys out) for which he used a clamp type device which showed a normal amount for the alarm and tracker systems.

Most garages should have a similar device to check yours.
