Rattle On Some Roads

Hi Guys -

I am loving my is220 but i seem to be having an issue with a noise that i can only hear on certain surfaces.

Scenario:

When im on some average rough tarmac roads with the music off i can hear a rattle that seems to be coming from the driver's side wheel - Could a lose brake pad or something cause this? Cheers

Rattles are some times hard to pin down. Could be anything but unless you have severely worn calipers I'd be surprised if your pads were rattling to that extent lthough it is possible. Best to tke off the wheel and check for excessive play.

Could be a suspension arm but I would think this more a knock thn rattle. Have you a loose exhaust bracket or similar.

Might be worth taking to a garage with a lift and just ask them to poke around underneath for anything loose.
