Looking For An Independent In The North West Area

As my IS250 is now quite long in the tooth and miles out of any chance of manufacturer's warranty, I want to take it to an independent for it's next major service, rather than the dealership. It may also need a bit of valve cleaning work, as it misfires a bit when cold, suggesting that the valves are starting to get sooted up and sticky.

Anyone got good experience, or know a garage where they have some lexus trained techs, in the Warrington/Liverpool/Bolton area?

I know is a bit out your way , but I use the Ellesmere Port engine centre (funnily enough in Ellesmere Port) Dave has serviced/looked after my last 4 cars , vectra sri , Mazda rx8 , vw touareg 3:0 diesel and just did a everything service inc plugs , gearbox oil , diff oil etc , in fact only thing missing was the cam belt (which is fine for anothet year on my 86k , 05 rx300 se-l . He's a bit of a rough diamond but gets the job done + one of his mates works for lexus chester , so if he get stuck (like my leaking rear diff , all sorted with a £10 seal) he gives him a bell for help info ! In fact he seams to have mates everywhere for advice
