New Member Saying Hello

Hi folks,

I'd been trying to decide which car to buy for a few months and was getting nowhere fast. For many years I had run 2 cars, 1 for daily duties and something 'interesting' for the weekends. I was finding that the weekend car was getting less and less use as driving had become more of a chore than the fun it used to be what with the state of the roads and the ever increasing congestion. My car history includes TVR, Lotus and Porsche to name just a few so my decision to go back to running a single car was the source of much head scratching to find the right blend of quality, comfort, equipment levels and a bit of performance when the opportuntity arises. This forum helped with my decision so thank you to all contrubutors. Finally I made my mind up and picked up an IS250 F-Sport a couple of weeks ago. It's about 3 1/2 years old, very low mileage, well appointed with toys and in lovely condition...very pleased with my choice!

I hope I am able to contribute to the forum and give back a little of the help I have already received from studying the useful information posted by members.

welcome to LOC Steve, new motor looks a treat, good choice. Know what you mean about the second car, we own a gorgeous Alfa spider but there always seem a reason not to use it but with values starting to rise I still justify keeping it and taxed.
