Newbie Questions: Dab & Software Updates

Please help.....

What am I doing wrong? I cannot seem to find any DAB stations, all it states is no signal?

Also, how do you update the software?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

DAB - in the DAB source, you have a choice of stations/presets/manual. Go to manual, then select the ensemble or service button and scroll through the list. If you are in an area of good DAB reception, it should show all the stations and ensembles available. Stations show all the stations it can see and presets are self explanatory.

The aerial is in the back window along with FM aerial and heated element. If you can't get any signal, then it suggests a problem with either the unit, the cabling or the aerial. Guess it is back to the dealer. I think generally reception is pretty good compared to other cars.

For software updates, first check which version you already have, it is in Setup/General I think, scroll to the bottom of the list.

Current release is VC03102E I believe, though F might have just been released I think as someone on here mentioned it. It is a dealer update, should be FoC and takes literally 15 mins to do via the USB port in the console.

Version D is available as a download from the customer portal if you want to try it yourself and you have a previous version. Its the one listed as for giving traffic updates. Its the only one available as a customer download.

Just as an update on this, the dealership had to perform a factory reset and software upgrade. It appears that the DAB software was incorrectly installed.
