Im thinking of getting the blitz front lip ASP side skirts Toyota rear bumper spoiler a spoiler like the toyota large spoiler plus a sports grille, windows tints,30mil lowering. but the 3 main parts of the kit(bumpers n skirts) i think are really nice as they arent massive direct replacements but nice addonsso you stil have the original IS200 looks! hope that gets u inspired!!! oh by the way i reckon the best site for body kits are http://www.altezzasportsandprestige.com/ and if your ok with importing... www.lextasy.com ------------------------- oh and an add on if you looking for a body kit thats quite cheap try http://www.body-kit.co.uk/acatalog/lexus_i...l_body_kit.html i was gonna get this n sell the spoiler and the grille so it wud work out really cheap!

Aft'noon all. Bit of a dilema here... ill be getting my IS soon and im deliberating about what to do? Basicly i have 2 options... I can either nicely modify my car i.e. carbon mirrors suspension bonnet struts dark lights tints sound system full body kit manifold (decat) induction exhaust all for about 3K OR just get a supercharger and not much else for bout 3k is the supercharger really that good? how much bhp extra will i get with just intake n exhaust mods? It either looks or power really! Any input/advice would be great! Thanks, Calvin

Anyone ever tried puttin a laptop with a realtime OBD-II interface in an IS200? Will it work, first of all? It says most moders cars can do it. But not having a lexus i dont know!

bit off topic here...but how much would it cost in total to get a turbo conversion. Is it as simple as buyng a turbo kit and getting it fitted or do you need your bottom end harded, new head gasket etc etc? I guess what im really asking is- What needs doing and how much would it cost inc fitting?

To boost the REN just ring BT faults on 151 and ask them to increase your gain! (unless you have ADSL then the gain is already at maximum!)

Hello everyone, I am a PROUD IS200 Wannabee. I have a few questions to ask: 1. Spoiler Has anyone got this spoiler off ebay? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...ssPageName=WDVW If my IS200 came with a standard spoiler, would i be able to fit this one in the existing holes or would i need to make new holes and comer the old ones up? 2. Colous What are peoples favorite colours? I really like the Graphite Grey. Does anyone have any veiws on this colour? 3. Smoked Lights I have seen the somked front lights on Prolex (very $$$ intensive!). Are they worth the money? Where could i get some smoked rear lights from. Am I right in thinking that they came as an optionl extra on later models? Hope its not too much to ask in one thread! Calvin

Oh i see, one of those things!! i had the full home setup in my car, sky digital set top box and an invertor, with the dish mounted on the roof!! i had all 300+ sky digital channels on a 17"touch screen i mounted on the dash! all my friennds have called me the mad scientist since i was about 13 and after that they really belived i was! but you could no way do that in a lexus and have it look standard, shame really!

wow its Anees himself, feel like im talking to a celeb! I hooked up digital TV in an old toyota corrola i had! had a compass on me and had to park in a car park at werid angls to get reception! It works trust me so keep going! How are you doing with the dish? My car was old so i bolted it directly onto the roof, got some right looks! As for the games, try half life 2 on low specs, mite work. Been speaking to Brettster hes come up with some good thing like not using the ITPS!

Really? wow thanks mate i will def get the opus!i also might try getting a dc -dc convertor from some itx website(cant remember which one). Im getting a totally new headunit and amps etc which from what i have read will be a challange but i think it can be done easily enough!

im always open to suggestions thats why i signed up here! so ur saying that thing dropped out when you put in the itps? is it still doing it?

to stop things going off ie when you use electric mirrors or thing like that, just put a nice big Capacitor in series with the electrical system, this acts like a bank where electricity is stored so things rarely drop out!

As i said brettster im all clued up when it comes to carputers, ive got the ituner itps to handle the cranking current and give me a clean and stable 12v to the precious PSU. Just wish i had been on this site when Anees was doing his carputer to give some advice!

I have a morex 60w PSU, its only for the MB and HDD, ive built many mini itx systems before so i know what im doing! im just missing the car, its really quite annoying!!!!

First post! Ive already started on my Carputer even tho i havent got my Lexus yet! Im making my own computer using: Via Epia 800, 300MB Ram, silent 60w PSU, 15GB HDD, all in a modified Scientific Atlanta box (the old cable boxes). Ill give the exact details some other time but im looking forward to getting an IS200 in the near future and getting a great ICE install going!
