i dont know much about car ice esspecially jap stuff, but i am looking in to a carputer and on my travels through the tinternet, i found this and wondered how easy or difficult it would be to fit? any ideas? http://usera.imagecave.com/jocksuper7/d7_1_b.jpg A lexus in-car DVD,CD,TELE,RADIO all touch screen excellent working order comes with HKS module came out of a soarer the model number is AVC-500a4 i presume you would need a modded screen surround similar to bilsys car puter install but are all the cabling the same or compatible?

with your facia adapter ad, can you fit two single din units? for example a stereo and a pop out touch screen for a computer? just trying to figure a few ideas out.

i have been looking in to these units and have seen them for bout 170 quid, how much you rekon it would cost to get it set up? if it gets the car running smother with a few extra bhp s and perhaps getting a little more mpg, it would be worth it? or would it? i dont really know much about these things and the previous thread in the link above just confused me (as it appears it did most of the people taking part in the convo, it reads like a comedy sketch,)

i dont know what the deal is now but before i left the uk in aug, sky were doing + for 99 quid for new customers, its a great deal and if you get a few quid for old box, its not that expensive, plus for workaholics it can be programmed to record all your favorites, i would given an option but as an existing customer your are screwed to the wall in price it was 199 plus 80 quid instalation when i left which is a bit steep

as an ex sky fitter, dont what ever you do tell them before you move other wise you will get billed automatically for a fitter to come out and fit a dish or not, i used to love them jobs, takes 10 mins, to plug into a cable thats already there and i fully aggree with the cancel it plan, change contract to your spouses name get a new dish and box(this would be the ideal time to upgrade to plus, as new customers get a great deal) and flog your old box on e-bay
