  3. I presume you mean LORD Bill Hicks? Surely one of the best! Shame about his early demise - a US govt conspiracy? He sure did give those idiots a hard time
  4. Similar but MUCH better!! That car was done manyyears ago, long before anyone else starting taking Japanese cars seriously. This new project should be capable of taking on serious machinery. Can't wait!!
  5. The TDi induction system should be available during November. I will post information as soon as we have it :)
  6. The maximum air flow volume and velocity is around the outside rim of the intake. This type of filter closes off the outside rim of the intake and tries to fee air into the middle of the intake, which is not as effective. We did a back to back test on a Saxo VTi of a similar type of filter to this against an HKS Powerflow - the Powerflow won hands down easily
  7. There has been a hot topic previously. As far as I know, I think we are the only firm in the UK to have installed a custom mappable eco on the is200 - it works well. Take a look at http://www.tdi-plc.com/is200.html Mark :)
  8. Sounds like another resounding victory of stupidity over common sense by our Glorious Leader then! Bring on Australia. And don't foget - last one out turn the light off.
  9. Hello We intend building an is200 or is300 with twin turbochargers etc to produce between 700 and 1000 hp. It will be nice to do weel against the Supra and Skyline boys We are prepared to buy a car for this undertaking, but if there is anyone out there that is excited as we are about this, and would like to be the first one, there will be a deal available. 14. Mine were done by Octagon - quality job - done 5 years ago and still perfect. I think that Xtreme in Harlow do it but I have no experience of the quaility. Mark :)
  15. That's fantastic Jayone! This country always has and always will rely on hard working immigrants, and most right minded peole will welcome this with open arms for economic and cultural enrichment reasons. The problem lies with those that do not think and act like you and your family. This causes segregation and resentment especially when they bring their historical rivalries, religious blinkers and a determination not to fit in with us but for us to accomodate them. Any other views? :)
  16. Many happy returns Mitch! Do you know how to use your katana? It's the big 21 next year eh?
  17. Thanks for the advice guys. I was banging on Currys door at 10am on Sunday morning. They do a 42" Samsung for £2999. Unless anyone tells me that they are no good, I'm going to bite their hands off at the weekend.
  18. Johhny-Boy, I don't know what size is best. I'm a gadget freak and money does no good in the bank. Interesting about the turning off thing... Playa, yes the very this screens. The cheapest I have seen is about £2500 plus vat.
  19. Has any one got a plasma screen? Are they worth the extra cost? I'm getting all excited
  20. Here's another sickenning experience I had a month ago. I was chatting with a guy I know very well. He was born in England with Indian parents. Apparently that latest scam by his community is to go back to India and pretend to be a refugee and apply for asylum here, because they know they will get a free house with the right to buy it. He seriously intends to have a go at this if he can get enough time off work. What the H*ll is going on?
  21. An interesting experience....... A couple of years ago I was in Singapore on business. After the meeting we went to a club (as you do), and I still had my brief case with me. I asked the local guy I was with what I should do with my case. He said "just leave it on the seat of the car". Naturally I was concerned about this, but did as I was bade. I was even more concerened when he did not lock the car, so I asked him if he was concerned that anything may get stolen from his car. He said "NO" Lo and behold my case was still there when we returned to the car. I couldn't believe it. Singapore has a very harsh penal system, which treats vermin with righteous justice. Harsh but fair? It doesn't take Einstein to work out what we are doing wrong, but who's going to do something about it?
  22. How about this then? Earlier this week my wife was driving in our area, when a guy came running out of a house and into a car by the side of the road. The car screached away causing her to brake hard to avoid him. The car sped upto the traffic lights whch were red, and crashed into the waiting traffic. The woman he crashed into got out of the and was threatened by the guy with a knife before speeding of through the red lights and disappearing. The missus stopped to help the woman and exchange phone numbers as a witness etc. The missus phoned her next day, and guess what? The guy was eventually caught by the Police who had been after him all afternioon. He had commited 26 offences that afternoon, including: 1) Robbing and battering an old woman (which was where he was running from when the missus saw him. 2) Car jacking the car he stole and crashed from an old boy at traffic lights. 3) One other robbery after the crash. No prizes for guessing that he was: 1) A crack head 2) A "Traveller" from Eastern Europe. 3) An illegal immigrant And just to top it off nicely was the fantastic news yesterday that the House of Lords is going to prevent the deportation of illegal immigrants.
  23. There are so many sensible people now with toleration fatigue - not racists or right wingers , just normal people. I know I/ve had enough :flaming: Is it all over or will the tide turn?
