  2. I posted a while back that the part number GG gave was wrong. Mark:)
  3. Hi Rodders Sorry for my sloooooow reply - we are snowed under at the moment!!! The HKS system is £980 and the Trust system is £810 plus the vat. I don't know why it is more expensive than the Mk1 HKS system which costs £775 plus vat. Please let me know if you want one. Mark:)
  4. We like to do them here as there is a bit of jiggery pokery involved. Our labour charge is £60 plus vat Best regards Mark:)
  5. Hello docurley The HKS Super Powerflow costs £155 plus vat Let me know if you want one. Mark:)
  6. Hello In case you didn't know, we have been tuning Lexus cars probably longer than anyone else in Europe, in fact we supercharged our first LS400 15 years ago. So we should be able to help. Take a look at our web sitewww.tdi-plc.com Mark
  7. How about this one then. We have just bought back a VERY nice GS300 Sport in black with dark tints, genuine 26k miles, 18x10's etc, but here are the good bits ; HKS GT Turbine, HKS front mounted intercooler, HKS electronic boost controller and additional injector controller et etc. 300 hp and pulls like a train from idle:o Unprated anti roll bars, lowered etc etc. This car was convereted from brand new for a very wealthy client, and cost ££££££££££££££££ to do. Shrek is here at the moment having his GS fitted with HKS exhaust and ecu upgrade, I let him drive the car and he came back with a BIG smile. We bought it as a demo/customer loan car, but if anyone is interested in buying it, we may be interested in selling it Mark
  8. HKS part number 1508 ST001 is made for the Alteza not the is200 If you want HKS stuff, let me know because we actually have some experience with Lexus cars:) Mark
  9. Hey Mat The meters come in 46mm, 52mm and 60mm. The indiglo meters are only 52mm at the moment and 60mm soon. Mail me off list and we can do the deal!!! Mark:)
  10. Hi Mat We are snowed under with work at the moment, and have not had a chance to do any more work on these yet....DOH!! If you or Tony (or anyone else) want's it done, we will need a car here. The nest thing we want to do though is a better exahsu manifold, because this is holding the power back and keeping the EGT's high - bad news!! The meters we can get to you next day. Just let me know what colours (silver, white, dark blue, and indiglo) and sizes you want. I would recomment and EGT, oil temp and a choice of boost or oil pressure. You also have a choice of mechanical or electronic operation. Please let me know Mark
  11. <> You can remove the ecu to have a look inside. I personally think you would be better off with a custom mapped system like a Unichip, than a pre programmed chip. It sounds like Vic may ask us to do a before and after test on his car if he buys the chip, but of course you would expect totally different results on your car any way. Mark
  12. <> We have only seen one with supercharger system with a major problem, and that was self inflicted! We had a guy that had an exhaust system (the brand shall remain anonymous) fitted that was actually more restricive than the standard item ( but looked great!), and to make matters worse he drove over something which caused enough damage to completely bend the exhaust in half thus causing even more back pressure. Most sensible people would have gotten the message by then and not driven the car, but this guy drove flat out - foot hard down (which was not very fast with a blocked exhaust!), until the cats melted and the engine blew. Thereby endeth lesson number 1. If there is a concern over bonnet paint, I would suggest that some simple heat reflective material under the bonnet will help, but we have not seen the need for it yet. As an aside, our next project will be a better exhaust manifold for n/a and supercharged models. We think this will be very helpful. Hope this helps. Mark
  13. Oops..........sorry I forgot to mention not to expect too much from pre programmed chips or EMPROM's. It's a bit of a lottery really as the same chip can work really well on one car and not at all on another. We found that being a Superchip dealer and fitting pre programmed chips, is not as good as a custom mapped chip. Not exactly ground breaking information, but something to be aware of, as pre programmed chips will always be considerably cheaper. Mark
  14. Hey Vic Fitting the chip is likely to be quite tricky as it will involve desoldering an SMT chip. If you buy the chip, why don't we fit it and do a before and after power run? If it is any good perhaps we can offer it to other members. All the best! Mark
  15. hmmmmmmmmmm Smells like BS to me. There is no increased under bonnet heat from the compressor kit, and I have never seen any paint or bonnet problems caused by the system Mark
  16. Hello Chipping or any kind of engine management reprogramming is not an alternative to supercharging!! Supercharging gives a massive increase in torque, whereas any gains from optimising the ignition and fuel parameters by remapping will give small but useful gains. Mark :)
  17. Hello We can still do the group purchase deal of £3000 plus vat mark:)
  18. We have not had the opportunity to do any development yet so I cannot answer your questions fully. We have seen a supercharged engine fail, but we suspect that this was caused by external factors rather than an inherent problem with the engine. Sadly we did not get to do an inspection so could not verify this. My recommendation would be to install forged pistons and connecting rods if considering a boost upgrade of any magnatude. Mark
  19. Hello TGB do not authorise the fitment of the supercharger system in the UK because they did not get type approval for it. Hence none of the dealers are aware of it. It will invalidate your TGB warranty. The main difference between the UK and the rest of Europe ( in my view) is that TGB is not actually owned by Toyota, but is a privately owned plc, so they make their own decisions what they do and don't sell. That is based on my opinion and not any inside information. I will stand corrected if anyone knows better ;-)
  20. The HKS Super Powerflow cost £155 plus vat, and the HKS flat panel replacement element costs £28.50 plus vat Mark
  21. Take a look at the TEIN adjustable coil over suspension kits. Mark
  22. for professional reasons I can't say to much, but we do end taking them off whenever we see them. Nuff said?
