  2. We intend to make the induction system so that it can be shipped and self fitted. We should be able to make quite a nice job of it. Mark :)

  11. HKS have introduced a Super Powerlow induction kit for the Alteza. This comes inbetween the Racing Suction System, and Super Filter, and costs £155 plus vat. They are in stock. :)
  12. Ehem, I am happy, nay PROUD to let you know that I have just had confirmation from TTE that we can now buy directly from them instead of going through TGB which is a painfully slow process. This means that we should now be able to supply TTE parts and information faster. Mark :)
  13. asin - there is a separate module that can change the rev limiter which costs £65. Coxyboy - the ecu upgrade costs £600 plus including fitting and custom mapping. There may be some movement on price if you a Gold Member. We have the HKS induction kits in stock for the is300. Shouldn't this thread be in the tuning section :?: There is some useful info here. :)
  14. Hello Coxyboy, we have done the GS300's which is basically the same engine. It gives better economy, more power and makes the engine feel smoother. It should work on the is300 but we need to try one. Charles, don't forget that the rev limiter is there for a reason :o Normally a good rule of thumb is that a pre mapped ecu or chip will not be as good as a custom mapped alternative. Hope this helps.

  16. The e-manage is a very basic system that offers 2D mapping only, so it will not be suitable for use with a compressor or turbo. Even for NA use, the e-manage system is twice the price of the Dastek system that we know and like. Hope this helps :)

  19. When we install a mappable ecu in the is200, we actually decrease the fuel by quite a lot as they run far too rich in standard form, to increase power and improve economy. Optimising the fuel and ignition timing improves power by 6hp. I do not know about and differences between the JDM and EUro models but I would not be at all surprised if the engine specs were different. To give you an example, the JDM and Euro model Supra's have the following differences ; camshafts, turbochargers, exhaust manifolds, cats, engine management, fuel pump etc etc............... All Japanese domestic models are speed governed to 180 kph (112 mph). We fit the HKS Speed Limit Defence to overcome this, which costs £115 plus vat Hope this helps Mark :)
  20. Si, don't for get the SAFETY aspect! Better brakes and suspension means SAFER stopping and handling. Faster performance means being able to get away from Michael Barrimore more SAFELY :o We don't do it because we like it (honestly Darling), we do it to be SAFER

  22. We are not officially selling this upgrade yet. If anyone wants to buy the upgrade, the only parts we can sell mail order are the pulley kits, uprated fuel pump, fuel pressure regulators and additional injector controllers. Mark :)
  23. The term "coil over" has been b*st*rdised over the last 10 years or so. It was used to differentiate between suspension systems that had separate springs and shocks, like a leaf spring or double wish bones, and systems that had the spring integrated into the shock, ie the spring is on the shock. As most suspension systems nowadays have the spring on the shock anyway, the term "coil over" is generally now used to differentiate shocks with an adjustable lower platform that allows ride height adjustment.   24. Hello We have commissioned a kit of silicon hoses to replace the standard hoses that come with the TTE compressor kit. Apart from being a much heavier duty, they are available in various colours which also makes them a nice dress up feature - especially if you have the matching water coolant and power steering kit The kit costs a measly £38 plus vat and will be available in 3 weeks. We will be taking advance order immediatley. Hope this is interesting Mark :)
  25. That's strange, but 50mm is far too low for the standard shocks. Let me know if you want me to organise some coil overs. Mark
