hi, i just had a fuel system cleaning and an ATF flush cleaning. the car feel much much better, i can even feel the power has increased. they inject some cleaner into the vacuum and for the next 20min... u can actually see black smoke comes out of ur exhuast....... it smell like hell. the guy said that this is all the carbon inside ur exhaust and ur engine. i don't know does the UK have this service, take alook at this web site in australia, maybe in UK u guys have some service similar to these. www.megapower.com.au

the 02 is200 all comes with that black brake light come on they have to make something different to attract ppl to buy the new is200 -
whats precat? is that the 2 cat look alike things straight after the extractors? because i went to a custom make extractors workshop they told me those things r collectors......... i don't know what that is........ but they said if make a custom make header its good to remove them.

did your oil cooler use steel tube or just plastic ones? and also did you install an engine oil cooler too?

hi has anyone installed an automatic transmittion cooler for their 1st gen is200? my 99 is200 auto transmittion runs quite hot all the time..... i know the 01 is200 have the cooler installed.........

dear john lee i found the battery voltage is more stable so i think the head light become more bright. but i only installed the earthline for 1 week, so ........... i am not sure will the engine stall again. but so far nothing happened. anyway if you obtained a diagram for the unichip in the ecu can u send it to me too, i want to check the connection also. can u send it to asinn@optusnet.com.au thax

dear john my unichip is a "C" chip, and after connecting the unichip to the battery, i still had encounter some stalling, so i had install some stronger earthline wires to the car and i found the voltage is more stable now and the unichip haven't stalled since. so i think the orginal problem is because the power source of the unichip is not very stable anyway is there anything wrong with ur unichip so far?

i installed the spark plugs wire last night..... its really good, i can feel the car give a much better response and increase in power in the low rev range.

hi, can someone tell me, whats the size of the orginal is200 exhaust manifold pipes? because i used those heat wrap to wrapped my header already, so i can't measure how big is it. i need the size to get a quote on a custom make header for my is200.

yes it does have spark plug wires but its direct ignition wires......... look at the picture i posted u will see it fit is200

hi, i have found this japanese company call T.M.Works, they produced performance ignition wires for IS200. i have ordered them already and i think i will recieve them next week. the company said the ignition wire was dyno tested in the RS200 and it producted around 15HP. but the wires are quite expensive $42000yen. anyway here is some photo tmworks send me on how to install the wire take alook

a question for john lee, i ask my tuner to connect the unichip to the battery directly, but he only connected to a wire in the ECU but that wire have constant power, even when the key is taken out. so the unichip is on all the time. i feel the car is better, the unichip was fixed 4days ago......... but today the car stall again....... just once......... but i am scare it will stall again. did ur car stall again after u connect it directly to the battery? any update on ur unichip?

hi, i don't think u can install a Power booster valve in is200, since the orgainal valve can't be taken out.

hi, i installed nos kit in my is200....... the result........ i can't tell u yet.....becasue the switch for the nos is installed at the throttle body and the switch is too big.... so everytime u step on the gas the throttle only open half way since the switch is in the way.... now i am getting a remote switch inside the car .... but on the dyno the car increase around 45hp and also if anyone want to install nos.... u have to use wet kit in our car........ since the fuel regulator can't be adjusted
