Original stock on the Sports model. Currently cleaning the gunk around the outside. Wish it would stop raining though! Never get a chance to clean the thing. To add insult to injury, I have to park on a busy one way street, so I have to wash one side, drive across the street and back up to clean the other, drive across again to wax the other side etc., etc.

Typical, only after reading this thread, I got my first instance of the burning smell. Did a five hour run from Surrey County Council to Stoke and drove the last hour and a half with a heavy boot. Lots of fourth gear from 60 to 100 to break away from stupid drivers trying to barge through in the fast lane. Saw an awesome GS though, X300LEX if anyone's seen it. Haven't cleaned the external of the exhaust since I got the car before christmas (what do I use?) and I don't think is was ever cleaned. I do think the Stoke connection is rather uncanny.

Hmmm. NotoriousREV, whats the name of your ISP? I've talked to a couple in Cheshire/Staffordshire. Also, Javadude, I installed the Antivirus software at Artemis, Slough over a year ago. Worked with a gentleman called Ray Lane. His business card says Artemis Management Systems. I presume this is the same Artemis?

Alkali, if you're still looking for a quote, you could try the company I'm with. Premier Insurance, Winsford £1500 Fully Comp, Business Class Insurance 25 yrs old, 0 No claims bonus (always driven a company car), 0 pts on licence. A pretty good deal, considering they'll take on extraordinary cases as a challenge. My best quote was around £2500 just for Social and Domestic. I'm sure you've heard the laughter often enough when trying to get a quote and then being put through to Mr. Tone.
