Does anyone have these?? as I am not annoyed at lexus edinburgh as i called them today to book car again for the thord time for the same problem and still ot resolved. Was told I would be phoned bacjk twice and nobody has called me!! Help is much appreciated! Ivan

Hi all, I am now looking to buy the new Rav 4 and have only had my Lexus since March. Whats the best way in going about this? Is there such a thing as a swap?? Reason I ask is that I have a little one on the way and the IS 250 is a bit tight for space. Thanks in advance

I got a new Sont Ericssom W810, works a treat. Before that had SAmsung D500 and this also worked good. Either of these I would recommend

Think my service may be due, is it every 10,000 miles or 20,000?? I phoned and booked it in at Lexus Edinburgh and courtesy car as well (which they charged me £10+VAT - is this right). Anyway just checking if everyone else service is 10,000 and any idea roughly how much a service is?? Ivan

Ive exactly the same problem. Just seems to be outside my house. Has been fine for last 6 months then 2 days ago it all hit the fan!! So booked into Lexus Edinburgh on Tuesday with it.....they wouldnt even give me a courtesy car as they were all booked up!!! :tsktsk: Anyway will let you know how I get on

I recommend chips away as well, they repaired mine and I cant tell either where it was!

Help..... When I left work at 5.30pm tonight I got into my car no problem at all. Came home and tried to lock it, nothing happened. Tried button on door handle nothing happened. So got into car in the hope that a start up and stop of the car would help, but it didnt. So car sat there unlocked for 5 mins or so, the I opened the boot to get to my manual to see what the problem was, lone behold it locked after first push of key but wouldnt open again at second push...... :tsktsk: Ok, I said, must be the key, went to get the spare and all the same happens again! What is wrong???? Is it normal for a wee red light to flash when you push the button on the key?? Has anyone got any ideas?? It has been ****** rain ALL day today. Surely water hasnt got into the electrics? There is nothing else wrong with the car apart from the key?? Help/advice is much appreciated Golac

*****, sorry to hear that...but as all the other messages go it happened to me also! Its just on of those things im afraid, as for the scratch, mow the bastards down! that happened to my mate who had his new BMW door kicked in as he parked his car at the train station! little ****s. I suggest looking on ebay for some lockable ones, I got some when mine were stolen and there still there! Ivan

We have all seen the pics of the Lexus IS250 series with the rear spoiler, is this available in the Uk as I so bloody want it as It would look good. Is it possible to order through my dealer? Any help and info is much appreciated Thanks Ivan

The ICE pack is the DVD players on the back of the head rests. That was supposedly the problem some cable in the seats. The memory function is really bugging me. Soz mate wont be in tomorrow but I am phoning them first thing to book the car in!!!

remember i have the ICE pack and the better seats, so I was comparing it to my car. And it was no way better. As I say seats are fixed which is good but the memory function I am annoyed at. I thought lexus Edinburgh would have been better than this! Ivan

Well, put the car into the dealer to fix the creaking front seat. Supposedly it was something to do with the ICE pack I have in the back...either way the creaking has gone after removing the seat and fixing something! However......why is there always a but???? the bloody memory seats dont work since the seat was removed. Im not to happy with this. But what can I do apart from take it in again. So on the phone tomorrow me thinks. Bit disappointed with the courtesy car, gave me IS250 Se-L, no MM, very basic model. Was hoping for an upgrade to what I have. But saying that I have the top of the range IS250 Sport Think when I book it in again I will ask for a better upgrade, however still annoyed that I have to take it back!!! Anyone else had issues like this?

Got that bass jumping as well.....its brilliant enjoy it!

Does anyone else have this problem where the car is very creaky? My seat creaks and there seems to be a lot of creaks from the roof of the car also, especially in hot conditions. The roof side of things seems to come from the sunroof. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced a creaky car from there new IS250. Gonna phone them about it 2moz though!! Ivan

Crap, Just back from my weekend at RIAT 2006 and have taken off the bike racks and noticed that on the back bumper (the level bit, just below the number plate) has two chips out of it where the bike rack was positioned. Now it wasnt a Lexus bike rack it was a Halfords rack, now its not the bike racks fault its mine, didnt position the foam pads correctly!!! *******.... Anyway how easy is it to fix these chips as I need to get it done as it will bug me everytime I walk past them!! Is it best to take it to lexus and do it or has anyone out there got any better and cheaper methods on how to fix these chips. They are approx the size of a garden pea!! Help?

I got my car from Lexus Edinburgh mate and it was a great experience. Met the dealer and we sat down filled in all the relevant paperwork then was asked to come through to the handover bay. There was my car sitting there gleaming on the well cleaned floor!!! Car looked awesome. After that had my guided tour of the car and my wife was given a bottle of wine in a lexus wooden box, very nice touch!!! They opened up the glass doors and off I went. Congrats go to the edinburgh branch as was very impressed with the full handover procedure! Enjoy mate! Ivan

Hi all, Going to phone lexus on Monday as I have noticed over the last few days that the drivers seat is now creaking badly when I go round corners. Really off putting when you are driving along with no radio on!! Anyone suffered this? Ivan

Hi there, Just got my private plates through for my 250 sport, had a look tonight and its not as easy as unscrewing and replacing them. They are stuck on!! No idea what with, front looks OK to tak off but I am conerned at the back ones as may scratch the car.....that would be bad. do you think if I ask my dealer nicely I will be able to drop the car in and they can change the plates?? This was I wont scracth it and they can use the correct stick stuff to fix them to the car! Opinions please. Thanks Ivan
