  1. I had a look, nothing under mine (apart from the seat elelctics). Only looked from the front though.
  2. Just been to have a inspection in-between the rain (rant rant) The speaker is knackered, split all the way around. Did I read somewhere they're a 12" free air sub??
  3. As title really, is it likely to be the sub speaker or an amp maybe??
  4. lol very nice, why's it sitting so high at the front DB??
  5. Cheers, just been out there to double check. Was just having a chat with a guy who has looked at a couple as was interested in buying, but they didn't have all the sequential gubbins (vsv's e.t.c) P.S you can tell me about your custom air box :D
  6. Hi all, am I right in thinking that the TT setup on the Aristo is sequential as the Supra setup??
  7. Very useful pics those DB  p.s just realised I hadn't replied to your pm, many apologies :(
  8. A couple more taken today :D Looks mint, but actually needs the n/s/f wing spraying, but I'm happy with the car costing £1800
  9. Got a single pic, as requested, more to follow pic removed to make room for more, see below.
  10. I really can't see Toyota fitting a different exhaust manifold. Fitting a single might be slightly different if the engine bay is smaller than the supras (think I read it on here somewhere) I guess the only way to know for sure, with there being litttle info with these, is to take it to bits :D
  11. Found this, http://forums.toymods.org.au/index.php?t=m...rt=0#msg_211302
  12. Interesting, what's different about it?? any pics of the aristo manifold??
  13. I was looking at your website earlier Sir, but it wasn't working :P Just started getting a knock from the o/s/f think it's a shocker gone, haven't got £1k plus to spend on a set of coilovers unfortunately :( When you say Aristo specific?? I take it it's a different set up from the gs300??
  14. Hi guys, I suck at the internet, can anyone point me in the direction of a website or 2 that supplies parts for these motors please?? Don't mind if it's stateside. Looking at suspension and brakes at the moment. Anything engine wise I'll be alright with. Cheers.
  15. It's a handy thing to have, especially if you don't have much self control :D if it's busy though, not much point in using it as you'll always be cancelling it. Also takes a bit of getting used to if you haven't used it before, as it feels un-natural. Very very handy if you have a particular stretch of raod with loads of speed cameras, or road works with cameras, which we have in abundance this way at the moment.
  16. The books for a MK1. Cruise----press the button in on the end of the lever, this enables the cruise control, should have cruise illuminated on the dash. At your set speed, pull the lever towards you, like you would to flash your lights, this will then set the cruise for that speed. Use of the brakes while using cruise, will cancel it, and you will have to set it again (the lever also moves up and down, but don't what they do as in jap writing, but comparing it to my old supra, it'll be cancel, and resume/accelarate trial and error) Autobox--- leave it in D with O/D on for most of the time, stick it in sports when giving it large, to maximise revs (don't think it alters any timing/fuelling but might be wrong, working from memory as been out of the jap scene for a few years) You may need to select certain gears for towing e.t.c restricting speed downhill e.t.c
  17. I've got the jap manual if you want to borrow it for a while :D Not much to know about the auto box, twist and go plus the sports mode button.
  18. Cheers for the quick replies folks. Mines a mk1. Active suspension?? something like the TEMS system?? as I don't have anything like the TEMS system on mine. Would I be right in thinking that on the exhaust system, anything from the 2nd cat back, it'll be the same as the gs300 (albeit probably a different bore size) Gaz, do you do a decat pipe for these?? #1 or #2 or both Just thinking that mine won't need cats for the mot as it's on a K plate, or will i ?? (i know about a restrictor ring if i fully de cat) Bugger, I forgot one, or two, if you turn the subwoofer knob up, the speaker farts, is it a single speaker?? easy replaceable?? Also, I can only get radio 2 or the yocal bbc radio, does a band expander enable me to get everything else?? and I take it the cd/tape/radio isn't a normal double din?? has anyone changed their head unit?? pics if you have please :D
  19. If anyone has 5 mins and could spare the time to answer these questions, I'd be most grateful. I have looked through the 11 pages but couldn't find the answers. 1. Is the Aristo mechanically the same as the GS300?? i.e suspension, wheel bearings, brakes e.t.c e.t.c so can just go and buy gs300 bits. 2. I need a new battery, will a GS300 one be OK?? or if anyone has a original, could you let me know the amp hours e.t.c so I could match it. 3. Cambelt and aux belt, although I will get a Toyota one, is it the same as the MKIV Supra one, I guess the best way is to give the chassis number to the dealer..... 4. Intercooler, anyone got any pics of the IC?? it seems to be roughly in the same place as the MKIV Supra, wondering if it's the same, as the supras stock IC crumbles badly at this sort of age. 5. Was the aristo available in the States?? or was it a gs300?? was it available with the 2jz-gte engine?? Thanks in advance
  20. Hiya, I'd imagine Thor race engineering do the conversion bits you need www.thorracing.co.uk known as the best/ most reliable for the supras I've yet to look to see how mine has been done. HTH
  21. I'll get some pics when I can stop driving it :D I did have some from the advert, but think I deleted them, I'll take some this week as I won't be using it much now until I get the belts changed, although I believe the 2jz is a non interference engine, apart from the VVti model, but still, better safe than sorry. While I'm here, what's the auto airpuri toggle switch?? sounds like a fan at the rear, is it what is says, and air purifier?? And, whats that flip down visor above the rear view mirror?? I have a owners handbook, but my Japanese is a little rusty :D Cheers
  22. Cheers for the welcome. I brought it :D (it was a TT) It's had an oil and filter change recently, no history of cambelt. Would I be right in thinking a cambelt kit will be the same for all the 2jz engines?? Got a few questions, but think I'll have a search first then post a new thread if I can't find the answers. Just got to stop smiling now :D
  23. Hi all, noob here, I've put a deposit on a k plate 93 aristo at a traders, and he says it's the TT, (deposit is on the condition that his description is right) But it seems way to cheap for the money, and im guessing it's an N/A. I'll be really peeved if it is as I've got a 100 odd mile drive. Having looked on here, it seems the v300 is the only TT, is that right?? as seen a few Aristos advertised as TT's but not as a V300. Unfortunately I've got no pics of the engine bay, only a few of the car. Hope to be a fixtre round here if I get it, not sure if I will though if it's a N/A Cheers folks
