  1. I guess more room is better than not enough :D Do you mean make a DIY facia plate, or is the hole bigger, and have to make a DIY fixing plate?? Not explained that to well lol. I think what I'm trying to say is, are the head unit/s secure when fitted with their cage in the stock hole, and just need cosmetics??
  2. Hey all, found this on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Motorized-Car-DVD-CD...1QQcmdZViewItem wasn't looking at changing headunit for ages but at this price, is quite fanciable :D Do you think it'll fit in the hole OK, as I presume we have a double din hole?? I'm not really clued up on this sort of thing, so all help apprieciated.
  3. As Maneesh said, you'll be keeping the rolling radius more or less the same, so won't look lower unless you lower it, or change the rolling radius, which you don't really want to do as it will put your speedo out. Need to know what width your new wheels are before saying what tyres will fit.
  4. Did you change the lights/badges over to Lexus or was it already done?? Two tone does look rather nice.
  5. What's the width of the wheels??
  6. Can anyone help?? If a post contains animated smilies I only see the first frame of it. I also have problems with not being able to see some user posted images. Problem isn't just on here. I'm guessing it's a setting somewhere, but can anyone point me in the right direction?? I'm using Firefox, but is the same with IE6. Any help mucho apprieciated.
  7. Hi folks, got my new wheels and tyres fitted yesterday, could anyone recommend what pressure they should be run at ideally?? The tyre shop put them at 32psi all round, will that be OK?? On an Aristo/GS300 by the way.
  8. I think if it broke, I'd have to be Koyo or Fluidyne with a couple of big leccy fans, probably cost the same as getting the OEM fixed or replaced. Any ideas what the GS300 uses??
  9. Very interesting you should bring this up, as when I was in a garage last week, I was letting them have a look round, to make sure they wanted to do the timing belt, and they mentioned about the fan. Don't think a conclusion was reached though as I was in a bit of a hurry, but I know they thought that it had hydraulic fluid though.
  10. £1200 from Lexus I believe (have part numbers somewhere) TTE=Toyota Team Europe
  11. As said, air filter and exhaust will give you a little benefit, you also could have a nitrous install, but could be cheaper to sell and buy something faster, like an Aristo perhaps :D
  12. They will fit as they are 5X114.3 pcd fitment, you havent said what the offset is, but the supra's is 50mm, can't remember center bore size though. But as Chips said, you'll need bigger than 225 on the rear, stock rear tyre on a mk4 supra is 245. You also have to consider if it has UK spec brakes , as these are quite large, and not all wheels fit over.
  13. Just a thought, with HKS systems, am I right in thinking just the box's are stainless and the pipe work is normal steel??
  14. Thank you. If you could get me a pic or 2, if to my satisfaction lol I'll send a deposit over via paypal or similar.
  15. Was going to go for something subtle, but always keep an open mind. Can you give me some more details?? Who made it, how old e.t.c pics if poss and a price (PM if you prefer) Cheers.
  16. Don't know  boost gauge is next on the list (you can tell my hearts not in selling it :D ) Still got second cat and stock exhaust, so imagine only a little more, but they certainly hit harder. Made plans for a custom exhaust aswell today, as looking at the stock system, it's a little worse for wear, so easy to talk yourself into things :D
  17. Got the first cat removed today (well cut open, horrible restriction catalyst removed and then welded up) Oh boy what a difference, highly recommended. :D If you forgot you had 2 turbos, this reminds you they're still there. (sorry forgot the pics as was spur of the moment)
  18. Missus and a kiddie, stick them in a Swedish Tank. High miles no probs, obviously need to have been looked after though.
  19. Norwich Union do a 7 day free insurance, not sure if it only relates to cars you've just purchased though (you don't have to be with them at all) I'd personally expect the dealer to supply the insurance.
  20. If you could send me a piccy of both wheels, and prices, it'd be most apprieciated twojzpowered@yahoo.co.uk Thank you.
  21. I can't see them (seems i have a problem, as this happens on some other sites) Can you email me them at twojzpowered@yahoo.co.uk as I'm waiting to put 18's on mine (just waiting for tyres) Thank you.
  22. OK been out, kept O/D off and took it to between 6k rpm 6.5k rpm, no problems, tried it a few times, never hit anything like a second limiter, although at 5400rpm it's not at 112mph, or just on the verges of it (was keeping my eye more on the road and rpm clock and not the speedo tbh) Don't know if this helps at all, probably not lol, but hey, I had fun :D
