  1. I took out breakdown cover with green flag last year at a cost of £98.00 for the all singing all dancing policy plan,

a year has passed no claims made I recieved the renewal qoute through today and they want £122 this price included a 10% NCD, :duh:

Ive been searching the net and tescos offer a all singing and dancing package for £79 and their recovery providers are Green Flag

Doesn't make a lot of sense to me but hey

Has anyone got this Tesco breakdown Cover and had to use it is it any good? I suspect I might not get any responses I forgot its Lexus were talking about we dont break down

  2. its already illegal to eat and drink.

    Realy?

    I didnt know that?

There was a story a while back, I forget the details but along the lines of: a woman got done for eating a kitkat and hence not being in control - she was stationary in traffic at the time.

corect! I thought it was a bloke but there we go?

Each to their own but my 2Ps worth :D

Nobody can honestly admit you are concentrating 100% on the road whilst talking on the phone!

I've lost count of the times someone on the phone cuts me up or you see someone else make a mistake whilst on the phone........ it kills, the call just aint worth it.

I think this new law is justified and a long time overdue id support it even if they trippled the fine.

forgive i'm not normally one for supporting the law practices or the screwed up justice system but this talking on the phone malarckie is a real "pet hate" of mine :tomato:

Can honestly say it makes no difference to me! Could be a passenger talking to me for all the difference it would make to me and my driving.

That's because you drive bad all the time! :P

Seriously though, I agree with Kazi. Actually I recon a phone is less dangerous than a passenger, you tend to glance there way while there in the car but a mobile you are looking forward all the time. they should re-run the tests but with your misses naging in your ear or you on the phone to your mate!

:lol: maybe they will try to ban all passengers next then

  5. As it says on the tin I took the motor to be serviced last week (non Lexi) and asked him if he could tighten the hinges on the drivers side door as it has slipped slightly and causing a lot of wind noise etc really starting to p me off! the mechanic said it wouldn't be a problem,

when I returned he was unable to adjust the door as apparently its NON adjustable? anyone had any simmilar probs or a possible soloution would help :D

  6. To all of you who read previous posts on my current job situation will know it wasn't working out to well! so I decided for a career change I have been training for my HGV class 2/C

  7. Feel for you mate that sort of behaivour isn't on!

Not just in your case but i'm a beleiver that surely they must have better thing(s) to be doing with our tax paying time :tomato: My female friend who lives on her own with a 2 year old at the time was burgled a while back and waited 3 days petrified for the police to arrive no doubt this will offend but really!!!!

If the window tints are legal did he not give you the option to prove it 1st time round?

  9. They would just fail it and you have seven days to rectify the problem and they will redo the M.O.T for normally free of charge once you have new tyres put on

Is inner edge balding an instant MOT failure? If I bring my car to service and the dealer spots it, am I allowed to drive away and have the tyre replaced elsewhere, or are they legal obligated to replace it?
  10. I know that some may slate the NHS service but I feel the nurses do a great job

I was admitted to hospital last night after a minor head injury, and I just wanted to comment of the efforts of the NHS staff nurses etc.

A difficult job without the added strains of staff shortages which clearly showed!

Dispite all this they were still profesional and polite so thanks a lot :D
