  2. As far as i know the base map wont be an altezza one it will be a base HKS one which is supposed to do you until you can get to someone that can map it

  4. So guys does anyone know how i can get all the posts in a thread to display the wat theused to before the forum upgrade. Now all i see is the most recent post and the rest grouped in a section saying "Posts in theis topic". Any setting i can change to get all the posts to display like in the good old days?? Sorry if this is a really stupid question!!!
  5. Doubt if would fit nicely the TOms Toms would be a lot deeper than teh standard screen so probably no room for it in the factory housing
  6. Cheers Mac e after a long hard think its not worth it! I just bought an apartment and cant really spare 700 yoyos at the moment. I'll drop Tony a Pm and see can i get some settings off him and i can try and find somewhere local to attempt the adjustments
  7. You could go Rosslare to Fishguard then you just need to follow the M4 then M25 (Clockwise) and you will land right on the TDI doorstep (well almost) :) Cheers Mac and how long would it take to get from Fishguard to TDi approx. Where should i stay around there probably a sat/sun night stay. Are TDi and WIM close to each other???? So just had a quick check to see roughly how much in total things will costs and its looking like nearly 700 Euro(475GBP)! which is quite a lot to get the geometry checked!! I'll have to think about it again maybe!
  8. You mean geometry adjustments? Well i was planning on getting these done with Tony on the Monday, but if its something else your talking about, im all for it!!!
  9. I like your thinking Tony, make a whole weekend of it!! I'll look into it so!! Do it... You know you want to :D There will be many members from LOC and some other very interesting cars on site And its perfect timing.... the girlfriend is going off on holidays from the 6th so no excuse for not going i suppose. Now to book a Ferry!

  12. Hi lads, i plan on making the trip over to WIM on the 9th July to get the geometry done by Tony. Anybody fancy meeting up? Im not sure where ill be getting the Ferry to. Any advice on where i should get the Ferry to from Dublin? Holyhead or Liverpool are the only to ports i know you can get to from Dublin. Cheers Dan
  13. i think the likes of the Apexi SAFC-2 or Apexi Neo are more common and more places know how to tune them in(in Ireland anyway) More features too as far as i know. If your not seeing any performance gains and have no mods on your car, i'd say ur better off removing it. Just my 2 cents Knobbo!!
  14. Quote: The HKS Super AFR is a microprocessor controlled fuel adjustment device than modifies the signals sent by the engine management system to the fuel injectors. This can be used to effectively recalibrate the original fuel injection system when mechanical modifications have been made to the engine. Alteration to the fuelling can be programmed at eleven different engine speeds (RPM sites), plus idle. Six additional areas can give extra fuelling at pre set engine speeds for throttle enrichment. As an example, you could use the Super AFR to make fuelling adjustments at specific engine speeds. (i.e. plus 25% at 4000 RPM, minus 10% at 4500 RPM, plus 20% at 5000 RPM and so on). HKS also produce a simpler, Standard AFR, but this will make one general adjustment to the fuelling at all engine speeds. Please note that due to the nature of this equipment, severe engine damage may be caused if inaccurate adjustments are carried out. Knobbo, can see if you can follow the cabling back to the ecu and try see how its wired in, maybe its easy enough to remove. as far as i know if yo udont have any mods done to your car, its pretty pointless and wont increase performance :shutit: hopefuly you can get some with experience to look at it for ya
  15. Anybody know if there is a way i can manually adjust the alignment on the IS200 headlight cluster? (have these fitted in my altezza) There is a electric motor on each cluster but as far as i know this is to adjust the leveling from inside the car does this also asdjust the alignment or or can this be adjusted manually some other way? Cheers Dan

  18. they are very heavy so id say shipping from anywhere outside UK would be crazy found a uk price list £699 :( ****** aftermarket ******* aways screwing up y cant i just by a part n it work for ever or at least more then 5months got better stuff to spend money on lol then replacing parts I ALREADY HAVE Well it might be worth just raising ur car up a bit then get the damage shock fixed. Most after market ones are serviceable so this maybe a better option for you to look into

  20. dunno about Uk suppliers i got mine from the local tuning shop in Dublin. You might get them cheaper than that in the UK, thats how much i paid in pricey Dublin(16th most expensive capital in the World!!)
  21. Or a set of D2's maybe. they come with uppermounts how much these D2s bad boys approx 650GBP. More info on them here Have them on mine. no problems so far :winky:

  23. If your replacing the whole coilover the basic damper kit will fit on fine. £400 from TDI . Maybe the reason why they leaked was that they were set too low maybe and constant bottoming out cause the leak.
  24. What coilovers do u have on the car now? Why u changing?
