just tried playing a disc in my 1993 aristo twin turbo. it comes up with Track 1 0,00 it trys to play for a few seconds and then ejects the disc. the tape and radio work fine. on the radio it says 8/12 Cd changer but i cant find a changer anywhere. am trying to post picture but cant as i have low global space left http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c15/aristott/100_0230.jpg http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c15/aristott/100_0235.jpg

i dont think they do, it appears to be extra. it works really cool and goes down when you put the gear to reverse. good to hear it working again.

i have similar problem but decided to go for 19". not sure what the ride will be like but i do more motorway. i have standard suspension (i think) but the car looks lower than normal) currently have stock 16" boring wheels. i have this in mind. 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear.

just checked again, it sounds more like its coming from the left side of the car when you are standing infront of the car. the compressor is on the right hand side. Paul, whats on top of the alternator it looks like a pulley but not sure what it does. the noise come on and off but its annoying.

just changed my air con compressor with a used one. a/c now works perfectly but i get a very loud pitch grinding noise when i switch the air con on. i have been told its the alternator and that the bearings may need changing. the noise stops when i switch a/c off can anyone help please

Ive told him bankers draft or cheque which must be cleared before collection ← just thought i should add a few lines. dont really trust bankers draft/cheques either as i found out when i was selling my aristo last year. a guy in spain offered to buy my car and sent a bankers draft which appeared to be scanned and belonged to a big company in london.luckily i read the article on the autotrader site. to cut the long story short. it would have cleared and showed funds in my account. but after a few days (car would have gone by now) the bank will get in touch and say it was either stolen or fake. so be careful with your dealings. i would prefer money wired straight to a account that i hardly use. that way you know the money is in your account.

am sure this has come up before. how do i build a car pc which will be in my boot with a motorised screen in dash that will allow me to store/play, mp3,movies, and sat nav. i dont want anything fancy or complicated. i want to be able to download mp3 and movies from my home pc. i have no hardware knowledge of computers. does anyone build and sell. as there are a few on ebay and some websites but appear too expensive. * what sort of budget should i be looking at. * is it worth the money and hussle. would it be cheaper to get a new head unit with dvd player. i found this karputer

Ah now I run my own limited company (I'm a contractor) how do you get one of these fuel card jobbies :) ← just to add on to what other guys have said. 1. i had a mk2 v300 for two years and i know have a 2x mk1 aristos. they are very reliable if they hav been well looked after. i will advice you to buy one with some service history so you have an idea of the milage. the tracking is a problem for the back tyres as it makes it wear on the inside very quickly. but am sure wheels in motion can help you out with that. the v300 will take 100miles a day. i did 125mile for 6 months when i moved to wolverhampton and worked in oxford. lexus oxford can do your service as i used them for my 63000miles service. make sure the cambelt has been changed if not it will cost you over 500 pounds for calmbelt, plugs and service. with the sat/nav, there is nothing you can doat the moment. protech in bristol put in a new uk sat/nav with cost 1500 fitted. you can easily add a dvd player to the screen. i will say go for the car but have it checked.

am looking for a 12" sub to fit in the original space in the back parcel for a 1995 aristo. i presume the previous owner in japan took it off or it never had one. i have tried a few ice places but they all dont fit into the slot. i dont want to get a box because i need the boot space. i know one or two people have changed theirs but i need a product code or something so i can order one. how many watts do i need ? and i may use a separate amp for the sub alone

just tried to re-gas my air conditioning system but was shocked to be told that my pump wasn't turning. i have been qouted 750 + vat to repair. but there is no way am paying that much. i checked the part numbers from toyota with lexus and they say its the same. so am officially on the look out for a mk1 gs300/aristo A/C compressor.

just as paul said, thats a lot of car for the money. i am 4 days into my MK1 aristo experience and i would never drive anyhing else, not even the MK2. its responsive and smooth. talking about bmws a 3.5 litre 5 series could not keep up with me on my way back from leicester. if you have the cash take it but check it out before the auction ends.

can someone please tell me where the speed pulse is located in a 1995 aristo v300. i am planning on installing a gps navigator.

hi, just had my sva conversion done and got the car back yesterday. i notice that my speedo was working but odometer wasn't working. my cruise control isn't working at all. before the conversion it was limited to 70mph. i spoke to the guy who did this and he said the universal chip which was used to delimit the car may have caused the cruise not to work. can someone help me with this please.

Hello Tempo - I had the cloth interior on my wife's Mk 11 RX 300 changed a couple of months ago for Sussex leather trim. Cost was £800 + VAT.(£100 extra for the perforated seat inners). I used a local company to me , in Leicester - Auto-Trim Systems. Contact is Peter Swann ,owner, on 0116 266 4112. They've done a suberb job and we're really pleased with it. Needed about a month to book it in and they took 3-4 days to complete it. If I knew how to post a photo for you , I would, so I'll have to wait til the weekend for my wife to send it ,if you want to see it.
