I have not used my car for 10 days but when i stated up my car this morning everything was working apart from the radio. All i could use it for was the MW stations but the FM stations wernt working at all! The whole frequancy was sounded distorted. Any suggestions?

i think this is a common probelm on the is200 but my drivers seat heigh adjustment does not seam to work. I can hear the motor going but it just does not move. i can move it front and back no problem. sorry for late reply guys. what do you mean about the B1S1 is that a code thats suppose to come up? the only code that have come up are these P0135 01/02 and P0135 02/02 and thats it. the lambda sensor i changed was the short one in the exhaust. and the sensor was a genuine one

i think many is200 have that problem. I have had 2 is200 in my time and the same thing happend to the wheel

no it flew thought the MOT and the car driving fine. no misfire

Hi guys For a while now i have had my engine light on my IS200 and have the follwing codes appear on my reader: P0135 01/02 and P0135 02/02 I have tried to clear it using the read. but after a few miles of driving it comes back up. I have changed my exhaust, I have changed my spark plugs with genuine irudium lexus ones and I have even replace the Lambda Sensor but still no luck. Do you think its the coil packs? Can anyone help. Regards

Hope the following helps you if you by a new black key. 1. Insert an already programmed master key into the ignition. Do not turn. 2. Press and release the gas pedal 5 times. 3. Press and release the brake pedal 6 times. 4. Remove the key from the ignition. 5. Insert the new key you want to program into the ignition. 6. Press and release the gas pedal one time. 7. Wait 1 minute. The security light will be blinking for this one minute. When it stops blinking your key is programmed. To end programming step on the brake one time. Note: Look for your security light. This light will guide you during the programming procedure. The security light will go off at Step 1. It will remain off until Step 6. The security light will be come on and start blink after Step 6 until the key is programmed. If the security light comes on after Step 4 STOP the procedure and start over again. If you perform this procedure too slowly your car will not go into programming mode. If you can not get your car to go into programming mode make sure you are using a master key and not a valet key. If you have a master key then you will probably need to perform this procedure more quickly. Remote Programming 1. Close and lock all doors. Unlock and open drivers door. 2. Put key into ignition and remove. Do not turn it on. 3. Using the electric lock switch. Lock and unlock 5 times. (Lock, Unlock, Lock, Unlock, Lock, Unlock, Lock, Unlock, Lock, Unlock) 4. Close and open drivers door. 5. Using the electric lock switch. Lock and unlock 5 times.(Lock, Unlock, Lock, Unlock, Lock, Unlock, Lock, Unlock, Lock, Unlock) 6. Put key into ignition. Turn to "ON", turn off and remove. 7. You will see the door locks cycle by themselves. If the door lock do not cycle (lock, unlock) by themselves then the car isn't in programming mode and you must start over. 8. On the remove. Press and hold Lock and Unlock button at the same time for no more than 2 seconds. 9. On the remote, press the Lock button for no more than 1 second. AT THIS POINT. The locks should cycle by themselves ONE time. This means the procedure was accepted. IF the locks cycle TWICE it have failed. The most common reason for programming failure is because the car didn't receive a good signal from the remove. To fix this problem try these tips. 1) Stand outside of the car while you are performing step 8 and 9. 2) Don't hold the remove buttons down as long. As long as the car is still in programming mode you can keep trying step 8 and 9 until you complete the programming. If you wait too long and the car exits the programming mode then you must start over. After you get the remote to program then continue on with step 10. 10) Close and open door to end programming procedure.

THey look great. I had the same problem. I have the same alloys (11 spoke) but mine are gunmental grey but came without the centre caps. Luckily i saw an OEM set on ebay for £50. But these IS-F ones look amazing!

The main thing is to service it regularly. Mines done 134,000! On the weekend I took my mate out for a drive (a die hard BMW fanatic) and all he could say was "Why is the engine so quiet!". Its goign to be hard to find an equivilent car to replace it and Im sure many of you will agree!

Hi there I have been told that i need to replce my spark plugs. but i don know know which one. Do i have to used iridum plugs? My car is a (1999) T - Reg IS200. There is so many different types of plugs. just seen the ebay item. What does it mean when its says amp by pass? Does that mean with a new head unit we wont be able to hear the full sound of the 8 speakers. I am in the same situation with my (1999) IS200. I want an up to date system that can bluy MP3`s and bluetooth etc but i dont want to loose the quality of the sound. Any advice please?

I have a green IS200 T reg. I am look for some paint for it but unsure of the code. How many types of green was there? I ordered a touch up paint the code was 6Q7 and on the bottle its says Toyota Mica Green but my car is suppose to be Kensington Green. Can anyone help?

I need help. Yesterday i was reversing in my IS200 heard a loud bang/snap. I got out the car to find nothing. I then drove a bit and then it felt like i had a flat tyre. I got out the car again find all the tyres ok. When I drive now i can here a scraping sound the feel of the flat tyre comes and goes. What do you think the problem is? I dont want to drive long distances like this.
