  1. dont get me wrong i have had many cars where you turn the lights on and off your self but lexus is a luxury model and it has this auto feature that i cant even use lol yeah taking the relay out in the rain isnt fun i ws doin that but for some reason i dont have to i mean i did at 1st but now it seems ok strange hey
  2. Will take some pictures when i have the scuttle plate up and try the old water test im sure i will have the hose out as well Fingers crossed this is the problem im getting fed up with having to turn the lights on and off my self that what the auto bit is for lol
  3. Some one mentioned it in an earlier post about this problem, and it cured them its where the wires goin in from the heater elements on the drivers side it creates as short apparently the companies dont seal around that point correctly and that bit is under the scuttle plate, but there is only one way to find out lol i ahve loads of silica packs i might have to stick them on ebay Is200 condensation fix Quick And easy to install rectifies condensation over night any ideas guys lol lol
  4. Hi all I still have this same problem, have not had the time to try re sealing the windscreen under the scuttle plate after all its been a bit to wet to do anything, for now i find if i dont use the auto feature at all its working fine no neighbours knocking to say lights are on.... if weather holds out i will be removing scuttle plate and re-sealing this weekend. i had my windscreen done at RAC in september they claim it was done to a high standard at the dippy girl on the phone wouldnt even entertain the idea of having the car back to check, not impressed However i do have the same problem wth way to much condensation in the car wasnt there before the windscreen was replaced but is there now i think its time for a few SIlica packs ubder the dash area to absorbe the dampness If we get a solution i think we should sell it to the windscreen compnaies after all they cant do it right in the 1st place
  5. Hi Guys I to have this problem yet again it happened at the start of the year when in winter season headlights on everything else off very annoying it fixed it self after a few days HOWEVER it has returned again but with a bigger bite now the relay in the engine bay for the headlights is vibrating so much you can hear it a meter from the car so i assume this has gone faulty, but i have just had a windscreen replaced by RAC, can i expect to find its not sealed propperly if this is the case where do i look to find this possible problem i know its likely to be on drivers side near the sensors, any advice greatly appreciated Cheers Guys

  8. Hi Im kind of new to the forum but long time reader, after researching into putting aftermarket radio in the IS200 Sport I have now managed to integrate the Aftermarket HU with the OEM Amplifier and very happy will try and put a guide together, it may be called cheating but I have used the original radio but mounted it in the boot just worked out which wires are a MUST for the unit to work, I then modified the amplifier to give the necessary connections the head unit requires I made it 9 connections how ever 1 of these im sure it isn’t needed now as it work with out it slight mistake but hey I got a spare cable just in case now I also made an AUX in on the factory amp which was run straight to the Aftermarket HU All this just because I wanted to keep the boot space but im now real happy and the sound is back to that amazing factory sound and didn’t have to change any speakers (but did change Fronts to Infinity Kappa's That I had left from My old car) Cheers to all the people that have left posts around the forums on how to do bits and pieces it has been a great help B)

  11. Hey guys just a quick question I like the designs that youve come up with for the boot install, but how do you work around the boot hinges, do they not cut into the space for the sub boxes on either side?
