  1. Remember to turn off the AC guys, Australian members from the NZ forums found that they lost about 6-7kw through AC at the wheels!!! (they drove IS200s though)...

    Atf Coolers

Mine whines way to much when cold too...so not sure if a ATF would fix that?

    Lowering

Tein springs go very well on RS200s, been for a drive and ride in one, not to soft yet just right for the roads and a bit of track use, however for proper track use I still feel the need for atleast D2 Coilovers.

    My Altezza

Could you please post a few pics of the front splitter please?
  5. nhlnhla, you have a PM :)
  6. You might possibly have a short circuit somewhere, check all fuses (in passenger well and drivers well), and also in the main fuse box. If nothing there, get someone to help you look through all the lights and make sure none of them have blown.
  7. Thats actually very good, they sell here in NZ for about $300-$400 EACH SIDE second hand. Paying around 1K here for a pair new... Not cheap are they...
  8. Nice car, Im still fully in love with the stocky Legana Kits (DROOL...)
  9. Its been discussed in other threads but most of us have come to the conclusion that an aftermarket Panel filter is best (e.g. TRD, Toms and I use Apex-i Power Intake Panel) And the fact that they just slot into the stock Airbox is just a dream haha
  10. Alright lol: http://z4.invisionfree.com/lexusaltezzaclu...?showtopic=2634 Its titled: Pod Filters Are Bad For Altezzas - 3S-GE power loss and irratic A:F ratio There are also a few other links of that thread that are usefull too :P
  11. Hmmm this has been a big problem apparently, and only affects a few cars at random, its to do with the air/fuel ratio apparently. Have seen some kits work fine in some cars, and using the exact kit, doesnt work in others. Would provide a link to another forum for more help...but might get that post deleted (again) by a mod... <_<
  12. Well I still like the Legana front kit, looks like either Wider fenders, or just aftermarket fenders? (looks likes its added a bit of width :P ) Nice mate.
  13. Use the brand '3M's double sided tape, used it to hold my mates covers which are still on today. Also used them for my eyelids.
  14. Haha not a problem bud, yeah do try and get the Transmission oil changed and see how that goes :)
  15. If its to be a sensor, its most likely to be the MAF sensor. Could be a problem with under/over fueling too, what ECU are you running? Have you brought it in for a proper tune on the dyno yet? What Turbo Kit does it have on it or is it a Custom Turbo setup?

    Security?

It is funny actually, why didnt they fit a proper alarm or immobilisor on the IS200/Altezza? I went with an aftermarket alarm the week I got my Altezza, got a Dynatro 5Star alarm, triple immobilisors, dual backup batterys, and all the other normals like shock sensor, touch sensor, car locator blah blah blah. Cause in NZ if your car has a 5Star alarm, insurance gives us up to 15% of our premiums, so the alarm pays for itself after a while lol
  17. You need to be more specific mate, problems with what sensors? There are alot of sensors in our car lol. And what info would you like on Turbo Chargers? -Bolt-On Kits for an Altezza or IS300? (your info under your forum nick says both Altezza and IS300) -Engine conversions? -Custom Turbo Conversions?
  18. Have you changed your transmission oil recently? If not give that a try

    Rsm

Lol those G-sensors came from Malaysia, note the price tags that have been half blanked out, you can still see the currency for Malaysia (RM) as they done use a $ sign hehe. Wow thats cheap...
  20. xnickx

    Rsm

The G-sensor is about $100NZD so perhaps around the 40 quid mark (as a rough guess), apparently not hard to install at all, looking at getting one for myself now :P . Anyone already have a RSM installed with the G-sensor? Post up HP figures :D
  21. xnickx

    Rsm

It is like it says, its a G-Force Sensor, helps to measure the HP at the wheels, gives damn accurate power figures (my mates Silvia was only 0.19HP off from the dyno...) and also gives accurate 0-100,0-400 ect times and it also compensates for wheelspins (doesnt do it without the G-Sensor) Its not neccessary but unless you dont want your RSM to give your 'ballpark' figures, I would recommend you get it haha

    Rsm

markrs200, you fitted the g-sensor aswell? How much hp were you getting? :P Does it not work in Altezza Autos only? As I've seen them working on many other automatic cars (not Altezzas yet though...)
  23. I got an aftermarket alarm and it flashes the indicators when it arms and disarms... I cant help you with getting them to flash though :) .
  24. To add to MacRS200's post, The TRD dials also go up to 240km (while normal JDM Altezzas go to only 180km), the revs go right to 10,000rpm. (Yellow from 8000-9000, and red from 9000-10,000). Expensive little fellows aren't the :P

    My Altezza

Nice car mate, was back in Malaysia for 4days in December, didnt see any Altezzas at all. Good to see they are around there haha.
