  1. Attention business users. Just been told insurance group 220d is 12 220dSE will be 13. No emissions yet. CO2 emissions 250 - auto to be 214 and manual 230, which seems the wrong way around to me, but he said it was in yesterdays bulletin! Prices confirmed as per page 14 of this post.
  2. Is there somewhere around the back seat / shelf / boot that I could take a feed from to charge a Bluetooth gps permanently fixed on the rear shelf. It should be an “ignition on” feed if possible. BTW, Any one use TomTom2 or Destinator3? Seasons greetings
  3. Make that 7 then Chris, bit of a rattle normally, dreadful when the body shell is hot (sunny days). Lexus Woodford are taking it in next week.
  4. Oh good, that solves that then!
  5. There is a little aluminium thingy with pipes running to it at the front of the engine bay. It looks like it has a clear inspection window, anybody know what it is?
  6. Aluminium thingy with pipes coming out of it , front of engine bay. Glass window, plastic cap with H on it.
  7. Similar stuff has been around for ages. I used it on a motor cycle decades ago, it sealed a small puncture, but on a bend, when the tyre was enduring more stress, it blew and deflated instantly! Personally, I would rather have had a slow puncture!
  8. My owner’s handbook show a small picture of an ”accessory socket”, you know the things that look like a cigar lighter socket but used for charging phones etc. I can’t make out where this is though, unless its only on sportcross models or something, anybody found it?
  9. Giving up smoking is easy……… ………………………………………………… ………………………………………………… ………………………………………………… its not starting again is the hard bit. :(
  10. Where can I buy these clear fog lens and red bulbs???
  11. Just to decide now whether to have sat nav or not in the new lease car. Popped into Lexus Woodford and asked them about it, the bloke there said you enter a street name. I asked if it used post codes and he answered no. So would someone tell me how :- 1) If I wanted a High Street address there must be thousands, it finds it? 2) On a very long road EG: Great Cambridge Road, Enfield it would direct you? 3) what if you want somewhere that hasn’t got a street name?
  12. Unfortunately :( I will be restricted to wild mods like owners club stickers (do we have them?)

  14. Yes Rob, It will be a 2003 IS200se auto. It will be a company lease car so I dont really want to drill holes in it. Delivery sometime (early) new year!!!! Finding this website confirmed my choice of car, very friendly, very imformative.
  15. Hi all. How easy is it to remove the rear bumper to fit a rear parking aid like http://www.incardiscount.co.uk/acatalog/Tauruslg.jpg is there some filling / foam stuff fixed inside that would have to be cut? Tia.
